Day 1

October 13, 2026

Your trip begins with an overnight flight to Montecatini, Italy.

Day 2 – Montecatini

October 14, 2026

Upon arrival you will proceed to baggage claim and, after clearing customs, you will be met by our professional tour manager and transferred to your hotel in Montecatini. You can spend the rest of the day at leisure. Have a welcome cocktail and briefing at 7:00 PM in the hotel. Tonight, dinner is at the hotel.

Day 3 – Montecatini/Florence/Montecatini

October 15, 2026

After breakfast, you will transfer to Florence for a walking tour. The striking buildings, formidable galleries, and treasure-filled churches attest to the Florentine love of display. The elegant appearance and beautiful skyline, with its russet rooftops and lofty domes give this city its role as an important center for culture and arts. See the Cathedral, whose gigantic “cupola” is the symbol of Florence’s artistic achievements, the Baptistery (from outside) with its fine bronze doors adorned with the famous gates of Paradise and the Piazza della Signoria. Enjoy free time for shopping or visiting some of the numerous museums and art galleries.

Day 4 – Montecatini/Pisa:

October 16, 2026

Today, enjoy a tour to Lucca and Pisa. Lucca is a peaceful place with narrow lanes that wind among the medieval buildings, opening suddenly to reveal churches, tiny piazzas, and many other reminders of the city’s long history; including a Roman amphitheater. This town is well known for its magnificent 16th and 17th century ramparts, which having remained intact, encircle its narrow streets which are lined with many medieval buildings. In the afternoon, we continue to Pisa to see its incredible Leaning Tower. It is 14 feet off center at the top because of settling after construction was started in 1173. Your visit of Pisa will also include a sightseeing tour of Pisa’s Campo dei Miracoli, or Field of Miracles, to see the Baptistery and Duomo (entrance included); all are fine examples of the Pisan-Romanesque architectural style. Tonight, dinner is at the hotel

 

Day 5 – Montecatini/Siena:

October 17, 2026

After breakfast, transfer to Siena for your full-day tour. Set in the most beautiful Tuscan countryside of rolling hills, lush vines, and gray-green olive trees. Siena offers much to see, from the fine palaces that line the narrow cobbled streets and the superb Duomo, to the celebrated Piazza del Campo where the famed Palio horserace is run yearly. Enjoy the Piazza del Campo, the ancient Tuscan capitol, a fascinating art town. Take time to explore the museums and churches of Siena and the glamorous shops of the Via dei Banchi de Sopra.

Day 6 – Montecatini/Cinque Terre

October 18, 2026

Enjoy a day of leisure or join the optional full day excursion to Cinque Terre. After breakfast, depart from your hotel and transfer by coach to the train station of La Spezia. By train, you will discover the renowned region called Cinque Terre (Five lands in Italians), taking its name from the five villages nestled on the cliffs which overlook a blue sea and a coastline of astounding beauty. Our first stop will be the village of Manarola, the smallest “Borgo” after Corniglia, but with a nice tiny square and a lovely view of the coast. Some time for a coffee and we take the train to reach our second stop Vernazza. Last destination is Monterosso, the biggest village, where you will have time for your lunch in one of the typical restaurants or cafes facing the sea. This afternoon you will take the train back to La Spezia and by coach drive back to Montecatini.

Day 7 – Montecatini/San Gimignano & Chianti Region

October 19 , 2026

Today, enjoy a tour to San Gimignano, a town of Etruscan origin. Built by noble families, the fourteen remaining towers that lined the ramparts look like medieval skyscrapers. As we drive south through the Italian wine country of Chianti this afternoon, your stop will include a winery to taste the superb local wine. Together we will learn what makes a Chianti Classico. This day is sure to be a highlight!

Day 8 – Montecatini

October 20, 2026

Spend the day at leisure to explore Montecatini on your own, enjoy a spa treatment or just relax. Tonight we will enjoy a farewell Tuscan feast at the hotel.

Day 9 – Montecatini/United States

October 21, 2026 

This morning transfer to the airport for your return flight home, taking with you many wonderful memories of Italy.

Day 1 – United States/Dubrovnik

Depart the United States on an overnight flight for Dubrovnik.

Day 2 – Dubrovnik

April 15, 2027

Upon arrival you will proceed to baggage claim and, after clearing customs, you will be met by your C I
Destinations tour manager and transferred to your hotel in Dubrovnik. This is your home for the next 4 nights. This afternoon is at your leisure. Tonight, enjoy dinner at your hotel. 

Day 3 – Dubrovnik

After breakfast enjoy a sightseeing tour of Dubrovnik. The old city of Dubrovnik is most famous
because of the Game of Thrones series, which was filmed in the Old Town and the surroundings. Completed in the 13th century, the old city Dubrovnik has remained basically unchanged since. Its medieval ramparts encircle the city, which pedestrians can enter through one of two gates. Either way they cross a stone bridge under the watchful gaze of the city’s patron, Saint Blaise (Vlaho), to find themselves joining the evening promenade down the broad, stone-paved avenue, known as Stradun. Following your tour you will have free time to explore the city on your own and fans can discover the Game of Thrones filming locations on their own.

Day 4 – Montenegro excursion

Following breakfast, enjoy a full day excursion to Montenegro, a small country with
magnificent mountains rising above the Adriatic Sea. Enjoy exploring Montenegro’s contrasting natural attractions, interesting history, culture, and traditions. After entering Montenegro you first drive to Perast from where you take a boat trip to the, “Our Lady of the Rock”, islet. Afterwards visit the city of Kotor which is a UNESCO’s World Heritage site. The old Mediterranean port of Kotor is surrounded by fortifications built during the Venetian period. It is located on the Bay of Kotor (Boka Kotorska), one of the most indented parts of the Adriatic Sea. Some have called it the southern-most fjord in Europe. Before returning to Dubrovnik, you will enjoy lunch in a local restaurant.

 

Day 5 – Dubrovnik-Mostar–Split

April 18, 2027

Today you depart for Split. Along the way you will visit Mostar in Bosnia and Hercegovina,
which is another country from former Yugoslavia. Monstar is a city where, “the east meets west”. Your walking tour will take you through the Old Town of Mostar, the traditional Kujundziluk (old bazaar), and a contemporary center. Next to modernly built edifices, there rise the towers of churches and the minarets of mosques. Nonetheless, the most magnificent stone monument is the Stari Most (Old Bridge), built in 1566, and is on the UNESCO’s World Heritage list. You will also visit a mosque and a traditional Turkish house. An authentic Bosnian lunch is organized in one of the old town restaurants. You will now continue further to Split where you will enjoy dinner at your hotel. Split will be your home for the next three nights.

 

Day 6 – Split/Trogir sightseeing

Following breakfast, enjoy sightseeing in Split. Today’s Split is the handiwork of seventeen
centuries of men and women building and remodeling, adding, tearing down, and touching up, so that 18th century houses intersect with ancient Roman walls and 4th century chambers house 20th century apartments. At the core of this sprawling cityscape is the palace of the Emperor Diocletian, built for his golden years at the turn of the 14th century. Today’s lunch will be the traditional Dalmatian dish: Pasticada, which you will taste at the Tragos restaurant in Trogir. The town of Trogir, a UNESCO site, has a fascinating 2300 years of continuous urban tradition. Its rich culture was created under the influence of old Greeks, Romans, and Venetians. Trogir has a high concentration of palaces, churches, and towers, as well as a fortress on a small island. It is sometimes referred to as the floating museum town.

Day 7 – Krka Waterfalls Optional

April 20, 2027 

Enjoy a free day in Split, or join the optional excursion to Krka Waterfalls. This city is a piece of Croatian paradise. After an early start we will reach the Krka National Park Waterfalls before noon. Upon arrival at the park, walk the wooden path through the park and discover a green oasis with endemic species of birds, fish, and butterflies. Visit a beautiful ethno-village where you can see traditional costumes and crafts. Also see the Jaruga hydroelectric power plant below the Skradinski buk, the second oldest hydroelectric power plant in the world and the first in Europe. After the walking tour, return to Split. 

Day 8 – Split-Plitvice Lakes-Zagreb

April 21, 2027

After breakfast, you will reach the Plitvice Lakes before noon. Visit one the most beautiful and oldest national parks in Croatia, under UNESCO protection. It consists of 16 lakes connected by magnificent waterfalls. The park is located in Lika mountain region and visited mostly on foot. After the walking tour return to your hotel.

Day 9 – Dubrovnik/United States

April 22, 2027

Following breakfast you will transfer to the airport for your return flight home, taking with you lifelong memories of amazing Croatia.

Day 3 – Vienna

After breakfast, you will enjoy an informative and exciting walking tour of this amazing city. Strolling Vienna’s most expensive shopping street, the Kohlmarket, we will reach the Graben with its Holy Trinity Column. The Graben used to be part of the city wall that was surrounding the Roman city, Vindobona. We will then reach Vienna’s most famous sight, Saint Stephen’s Cathedral. This afternoon is yours to enjoy with free time for shopping or visiting some of the numerous museums and art galleries.

Day 4 – Vienna

October 8, 2027

Today, enjoy a city tour through Vienna. Along the Ringstrasse we show you numerous magnificent buildings; such as the State Opera House, the Museum of Fine Arts, the Natural History Museum, the former Habsburg winter residence, the Hofburg, the Parliament, the City Hall, and the Burg theater. The highlight of this tour will be a visit to the Schonbrunn Palace, the former summer residence of the Habsburg family. On the way back we pass by the Belvedere Palace, the former summer residence of Prince Eugen, which houses the largest and the most precious Gustav Klimt collection in the world. Enjoy this afternoon at your leisure.

 

Day 5 – Vienna/Prague

October 9, 2027

After breakfast we will board our motor coach and travel to the city of Prague. Along the way we will stop in the city of Cesky Krumlov. This city is on the UNESCO heritage list. The unique urban complex, comprising three hundred historic houses and the National Castle and Chateau, also the second largest after Prague Castle, draws many visitors every year and is rightly called the
“Renaissance Pearl”.

 

Day 6 – Prague

October 10, 2027

After breakfast, depart from your hotel for a fascinating city tour of Prague, the exquisite
capital of the Czech Republic. You will see the major historical areas of the city centre; the Wericesias Square at its heart, the historic Old Town and the picturesque Lesser Town. Continue on to discover the sights within the Prague Castle Complex. Admire the grandeur of Saint Vitus Cathedral and enjoy stunning views over the city. This afternoon you will enjoy a walking tour of the Old Town Square to admire the famous Astronomical Clock. Our walk will continue along Karlova Street to Charles Bridge, an open air gallery of the Baroque sculpture. From here you can see a magical view of Prague Castle. We will finish the tour with a walking tour of the only Central European Jewish Town-Quarter that survived the holocaust. You will then walk through Maiselova Street and reach the Old Town Square where your trip to the past ends. 

Day 7 – Prague

Today is yours to enjoy the sights of Prague or perhaps take an optional tour to Kutna Hora. The Kutna Hora is one of the most popular destinations in the Czech Republic because of its amazing
collection of historic buildings; including the ghoulish Ossuary, the Gothic masterpiece of St. Barbara’s Church, and the splendor of the Italian Court. This rich heritage was born in the boom days when Kutna Hora competed with Prague economically and culturally, becoming the favorite residence of several Bohemian Kings.

Day 8 – Prague

October 12, 2027

Spend the day at leisure to explore Prague on your own. Tonight, you will enjoy a farewell
dinner where you can share your travel highlights with new found friends.

Day 9 – Prague/United States

October 13, 2027
