Day 1
October 22, 2025
Your trip begins with a transatlantic flight to the amazing Greece. Land in Athens, relax and enjoy the in-flight meal service and on-board entertainment.
Day 2
October 23, 2025
Upon arrival you will be met by your tour manager and escorted to your deluxe motorcoach. Beginning your magical Greek experience as you make your way to your hotel which will be your home for the next seven nights. Tonight, enjoy a welcome dinner and reception as you get to know your fellow travelers.
Day 3
October 24, 2025: Athens
Athens City Tour: Following breakfast, enjoy a stunning panoramic tour seeing Athens’s most iconic landmarks, the Panathinaiko Stadium where the first Olympic Games of modern times took place in 1896. You will see Zappeion and Temple of Olympian Zeus, the Athens Trilogy which includes the University of Athens, the Academy of Athens, and the National Library. Continue passing by National Garden, Hadrian’s Arch, St. Paul’s Church, Parliament, Tomb of the Unknown soldier, Schliemann’s House, Catholic Cathedral, Constitution Square, Russian Orthodox Church. Finally and sure to be a highlight, you will explore the Acropolis, built during the Golden Age. You will admire the Temple of Athena Nike, Parthenon, Erechtheion with its Porch of Maidens. Continue the pleasant short walk passing by Herodion and Dionysus Theater, to visit the Museum of Acropolis. This afternoon enjoy free time exploring the Plaka and admiring the Greek culture with the narrow streets full of old mansions. Taste the famous Greek Souvlaki.
Day 4
October 25, 2025: Delphi (optional)
Today is yours to enjoy at your leisure or you can join an optional tour to Delphi. Along the way, you will see the plain of Boeotia, an agricultural center and you will also pass by the city of Thebes, the birthplace of King Oedipus. You will see Castalia Spring, and the monument of the Argive Kings, the treasury of the Athenians, the Athenian Stoa, the Polygonal Wall, the monument of Platea and the Temple of Apollo famous for its oracle and Delphi museum. You will also visit cosmopolitan village of Arachova, the best winter resort of Greece. You can buy hand-made pastries, cheeses, spices, and many other local products or you can have lunch if you do not wish to do so in Delphi!
Day 5
October 26, 2025: Ancient Sites & Mountainside Villages
Following breakfast this morning enjoy travelling back in time as you explore the Peloponnese Peninsula. You will make a short stop at the breathtaking Canal of Corinth with the amazing view of the 6km length and 80m height! Your next stop will be at Ancient Corinth to walk the same paths that the famous Apostle Paul walked. Continuing on you will be at the Ancient Mycenae, the center of Greek civilization. Visit the Cyclopean Walls, the famous Lion’s Gate and the “Atreus King Tomb’’! Our next stop is the seaside town of Nafplio. You can have a traditional Greek lunch here and then walk next to the coast, or you can visit the Castle of the Town, with the 999 steps and the amazing view. Afterwards, you will have our last stop at the Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus of the 15,000 spectators and the breathtaking acoustics. You will return to your hotel late in the afternoon.
Day 6
October 27, 2025: Wine Tour (optional)
Today is a day at leisure or enjoy a great opportunity to visit two wineries combining a visit at the Temple of Poseidon in Cape Sounion. Wine is part of the Greek Culture for over 4000 years, according to Homer, Plato, Hippocrates and more, so it is a part of Athens’ history, a place where you can find many vineyards and wineries. Driving along the Athenian Riviera, we will reach the west coast of Attica. We will visit Cape Sounio to admire the magnificent Temple of Poseidon. Then we will visit two great Wineries where you will be guided in the facilities and will have the chance to taste the local wines they produce.
Day 7
October 28, 2025: Athens Walking and Gourmet Food Tour
The walking food tour begins at your hotel, taking you to Monastiraki Square, the Flea Market, and past the Ancient Agora of Athens, the heart of Athenian Democracy. You’ll stroll through the Psirri neighborhood, visit the Varvakios Meat and Fish Market, and explore Greek culinary history from its ancient origins through Roman, Byzantine, and Ottoman influences. You’ll taste Greek treats like koulouri, various pies, olives, dried fruits, souvlaki, gyros, Greek ham, cheese, tsipouro, and enjoy a Greek coffee with loukoumi and loukoumades.
Day 8
October 29, 2025: Day Cruise to Saronic Gulf
Today you will enjoy a day cruise along the Saronic Gulf and the Saronic Islands with stops in Aegina with its narrow streets, traditional houses, shops, taverns, and the awe inspiring mansion. Enjoy a visit to the local boats shops which have been transformed into floating grocery stores. Next we will visit Hydra: One of the most romantic destinations in Greece, built on a slope overlooking the Argosaronic gulf. Here cars are banned and the use of around 500 donkeys is the means of public transportation. Walk the waterfront and the heart of the town, where you will see monuments, churches, museums, old mansions, shops and cafes. Our last stop will be Poros: Walk among the neoclassical buildings and visit the famous clock tower. The town is built in the shape of an amphitheater over two hills. Lush pine trees, crystal clear beaches, a lively waterfront adorned with shops, cozy cafes and restaurants, with grand traditional mansions and picturesque cobbled streets. Tonight, we will all enjoy a farewell dinner with entertainment as we reminisce about out wonderful experience.
Day 9
October 30, 2025: Athens/USA
Transfer to the airport for your flight back to the USA. Taking with you wonderful memories of Athens.

We depart Post Falls mid morning for Walla Walla. Our first winery is Echolands Estate, The stunning 341-acre site, located in the Mill Creek area of the Walla Walla Valley AVA in the foothills of the Blue Mountains, features the highest-elevation winery in Walla Walla and some of the highest elevations in Washington State. We will have a wine tasting and a lite lunch! Then on to Walla Walla. Check into the LaQuinta Inn and Suites. Welcome Dinner this evening is included at Passatempo Taverna! (or similar) (L, D)
Day 2
November 8, 2025
Breakfast at the hotel. This morning we head to a couple of local wineries! Amavi Cellars and Pepper Bridge for tastings. Then head to Waterbrook Winesery where you will be able to order lunch and wine on your own. We return to the hotel. The afternoon is yours to explore the wineries downtown and dinner on your own. There are over 10 tasting rooms in downtown! The motorcoach will take you downtown. NOTE* There will be events surrounding Fall Release this evening. We will let you know as we get closer.
Day 3
November 9, 2025
After breakfast at the hotel we check out and first stop is Fort Walla Walla. The Museum features a 17-building historic pioneer settlement, beautiful gardens, and five sprawling exhibit halls housing thousands of artifacts. OR A guided tour of the Kirkman Mansion, Visit one of Walla Walla’s oldest mansions and learn how a young textile salesman from England made his fortune in America’s Wild West. William and Isabelle Kirkman became pillars of the community and completed this grand home in 1880. Then we depart for Post Falls! (B)

Day 2 – LISBON AIRPORT-FÁTIMA

Tonight enjoy a welcome dinner and reception as you get to know your fellow travelers.
Day 3 – FÁTIMA-SINTRA-CASCAIS-FATIMA

Following breakfast at the hotel you will start your day leaving Fatima for an incredible day trip to a trio of picturesque locales. The area surrounding Lisbon offers an incredible variety of architecture and scenery, from fairy-tale palaces to romantic towns and breath-taking viewpoints. Today’s guided excursion is the ideal way to experience these attractions. Your first stop will be Sintra. This village is a harmonic combination of history and fantasy, described as a “glorious Eden” by the 18th-century British poet Lord Byron. Sure to be a highlight will be a visit to the Sintra National Palace. Continue on a walking tour in the city centre. Your group will have free time to enjoy lunch on your own. Your next stop is the Cabo Da Roca, the westernmost point of not only Portugal but all of mainland Europe. Enjoy the gorgeous views across the Atlantic Ocean as waves crash onto the shore. Before returning to Fatima you’ll visit the fishing harbour and tourist centre of Cascias, the former summer residence of the Portuguese royal family.
Day 4 – FATIMA-ÓBIDOS-BATALHA-FATIMA

Following breakfast at the hotel depart for Obidos. Surrounded by a classic crenelated wall, Óbidos’ gorgeous historic center is a labyrinth of cobblestoned streets and flower-bedecked, whitewashed houses livened up with dashes of vivid yellow and blue paint. Enjoy a tasting of the local liquor “Ginginha” (included). Depart Towards Alcobaca, where you will visit the wine museum and enjoy a wine tasting. Continue towards Bathala where you will visit the Bathala Monastery. You will now make your way back to Fatima.
Day 5 – FATIMA-PORTO-SURROUNDINGS

Following breakfast at the hotel you will make your way to Porto. Today is dedicated to the visit of Porto, the second largest city in Portugal and the one that gave it its name. Enjoy a panoramic tour of the city and its historic district that reveals such a rich past. You will make a stop at the S. Bento Station with its magnificent Azulejos panels then visit the local Bolhão Market. Walk in the typical district of Ribeira. This afternoon, enjoy free time exploring the beautiful city of Porto. Tonight, will be a delight for everyone as you dine at a local restaurant overlooking the river.
Day 6 – PORTO SURROUNDINGS-DOURO VALLEY-PORTO

Following breakfast, the tour will head towards Douro Valley which is known as the home of the world-famous Port wine. During the tour today, you will not only have chances to taste delicious wine, but also enjoy the natural beauty made up of sloping vineyards and the river that crosses the region. You will visit Regua, capital of the Douro’s region. Here we will visit a local winery followed by a wine tasting. After the tasting you will enjoy lunch in Quinta and then a boat tour on the Douro River.
Day 7 – PORTO-AVEIRO-COIMBRA-NAZARÉ

After breakfast, you will enjoy a drive to Nazare with a stop in Aveiro, nicknamed “the Portuguese Venice” with its canals, where the “Moliceiros”, colorful boats with a raised bow, are anchored. Here you will enjoy a cruise on a Moliceiros through the beautiful town. Following free time for lunch you will depart for Coimbra to visit the medieval capital of Portugal and the site of the country’s greatest university: the University of Coimbra, founded in 1290. The city wears its weighty importance in Portuguese history with dignity and pride, witnessed by its multicolored collage of buildings that span nearly a millennium. Observe how Coimbra’s historic core cascades down a hillside creating a lovely setting along the east bank of the Rio Mondego. Continue to Nazare, the most quintessential and colorful fishing village of Portugal. Then visit the Sítio to enjoy a wonderful view over the town and beach.
Day 8 – NAZARÉ-LISBON

Following breakfast at the hotel you will make your way to Lisbon. Your first stop is the beautiful area of Belem, a tribute to Portuguese discoveries, the numerous territories and maritime routes discovered by the Portuguese during the 15th and 16th centuries. Here you’ll visit Belem Tower (exterior) and the Monument to the Discoveries (exterior), followed by the magnificent Jeronimos Monastery (exterior), considered one of the most stunning monuments of Portugal. Make sure to taste the delicious and sweet Pastel de Belem, a traditional pastry found here. This afternoon, it’s off to the dynamic Alfama district, home of traditional Fado music and charming, twisting streets that wind up to an imposing castle on one of the city’s highest hills. With whitewashed houses, flower-laden balconies, and red-tiles roofs, Alfama is a perfect mix of historical landmarks and quaint residences. You will also discover one of the most important squares in the city and the famous Liberdade Avenue. This evening will be a night to remember. End your trip to Portugal on a note of the most representative music of the Portuguese soul, we invite you to a good Portuguese dinner in a typical Fado house. This farewell dinner will make you discover the feeling of “Saudade” which, we hope, will bring you back to Portugal for other discoveries.
Day 9 – LISBON/USA
April 1, 2026
Following breakfast you will be bid farewell to Portugal taking many wonderful memories with you as you board your flight bound for the USA.

Upon arrival you will proceed to baggage claim and, after clearing customs, you will be met by our professional tour manager and transferred to your hotel in Montecatini. You can spend the rest of the day at leisure. Have a welcome cocktail and briefing at 7:00 PM in the hotel. Tonight, dinner is at the hotel.
Day 3 – Montecatini/Florence/Montecatini

After breakfast, you will transfer to Florence for a walking tour. The striking buildings, formidable galleries, and treasure-filled churches attest to the Florentine love of display. The elegant appearance and beautiful skyline, with its russet rooftops and lofty domes give this city its role as an important center for culture and arts. See the Cathedral, whose gigantic “cupola” is the symbol of Florence’s artistic achievements, the Baptistery (from outside) with its fine bronze doors adorned with the famous gates of Paradise and the Piazza della Signoria. Enjoy free time for shopping or visiting some of the numerous museums and art galleries.
Day 4 – Montecatini/Pisa:

Today, enjoy a tour to Lucca and Pisa. Lucca is a peaceful place with narrow lanes that wind among the medieval buildings, opening suddenly to reveal churches, tiny piazzas, and many other reminders of the city’s long history; including a Roman amphitheater. This town is well known for its magnificent 16th and 17th century ramparts, which having remained intact, encircle its narrow streets which are lined with many medieval buildings. In the afternoon, we continue to Pisa to see its incredible Leaning Tower. It is 14 feet off center at the top because of settling after construction was started in 1173. Your visit of Pisa will also include a sightseeing tour of Pisa’s Campo dei Miracoli, or Field of Miracles, to see the Baptistery and Duomo (entrance included); all are fine examples of the Pisan-Romanesque architectural style. Tonight, dinner is at the hotel
Day 5 – Montecatini/Siena:

After breakfast, transfer to Siena for your full-day tour. Set in the most beautiful Tuscan countryside of rolling hills, lush vines, and gray-green olive trees. Siena offers much to see, from the fine palaces that line the narrow cobbled streets and the superb Duomo, to the celebrated Piazza del Campo where the famed Palio horserace is run yearly. Enjoy the Piazza del Campo, the ancient Tuscan capitol, a fascinating art town. Take time to explore the museums and churches of Siena and the glamorous shops of the Via dei Banchi de Sopra.
Day 6 – Montecatini/Cinque Terre

Enjoy a day of leisure or join the optional full day excursion to Cinque Terre. After breakfast, depart from your hotel and transfer by coach to the train station of La Spezia. By train, you will discover the renowned region called Cinque Terre (Five lands in Italians), taking its name from the five villages nestled on the cliffs which overlook a blue sea and a coastline of astounding beauty. Our first stop will be the village of Manarola, the smallest “Borgo” after Corniglia, but with a nice tiny square and a lovely view of the coast. Some time for a coffee and we take the train to reach our second stop Vernazza. Last destination is Monterosso, the biggest village, where you will have time for your lunch in one of the typical restaurants or cafes facing the sea. This afternoon you will take the train back to La Spezia and by coach drive back to Montecatini.
Day 7 – Montecatini/San Gimignano & Chianti Region
October 19 , 2026
Today, enjoy a tour to San Gimignano, a town of Etruscan origin. Built by noble families, the fourteen remaining towers that lined the ramparts look like medieval skyscrapers. As we drive south through the Italian wine country of Chianti this afternoon, your stop will include a winery to taste the superb local wine. Together we will learn what makes a Chianti Classico. This day is sure to be a highlight!
Day 8 – Montecatini
October 20, 2026
Spend the day at leisure to explore Montecatini on your own, enjoy a spa treatment or just relax. Tonight we will enjoy a farewell Tuscan feast at the hotel.
Day 9 – Montecatini/United States

Depart the Spokane Airport for Savannah. Arrive early evening and check into the AC Savannah Historic District for your 2-night stay. Dinner is own your own this evening.
Day 2
April 7, 2026
After breakfast at the hotel we head to the depot to pick up tickets for the Hop On Hop Off Trolley.
There are multiple stops you can take on your own today at your leisure. Some of the sites you can see are: Forsyth Park, Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, Exchange Bell, Ellis Square and of course stops you can get off and wander and shop at River Street and City Market. Lunch is on your own and will be hard to choose where you want to go! Dinner is included this evening at the popular Southern Favorite, Paula Deans, Lady and Son’s or similar!
Day 3
April 8, 2026
Breakfast at the hotel. Then we check out and load the motorcoach and head to Charleston! Lunch on your own. After lunch we arrive in the Historic District to take a guided tour of the area and we visit the Slave Mart Museum. After our tour we check into the Hampton Inn and Suites right in the Historic District of Charleston! Dinner is on your own at one of the fabulous restaurants in the district.
Day 4

After breakfast at the hotel we head out as we have a full day today! First stop is the Charleston Tea Gardens in the heart of Low Country on Wadmalaw Island where you will learn the fascinating business of growing Tea. We will do a Factory Tour followed by a Trolley Tour of the grounds and fields. After our included box lunch, we head to the Magnolia Plantation and Gardens. Founded in 1676 by the Drayton family, Magnolia Plantation has survived the centuries and witnessed the history of our nation unfold before it from the American Revolution through the Civil War and beyond. It is the oldest public tourist site in the Lowcountry, and the oldest public gardens in America. First, we take the Tram Tour for an overview and then we will take a tour of the House and then thru the fabulous Gardens! We then take a tram to the Slave Quarters where we experience The Slavery to Freedom Tour. We depart after a full day and head to the hotel to freshen up before our scrumptious Farewell Dinner at the Charleston Crab House.
Day 5
April 10, 2026
Breakfast included at the hotel. Today is all about the free time on your own in the Charleston Historic District. Visit the Old Exchange and the famous Pineapple Fountain. Wander the Rainbow Row with its colorful historic row homes. Take a carriage ride and visit some of the unique and fabulous shops. Lunch is on your own and there are wonderful options all over and in Charleston City Market! After lunch head back to the hotel to load the motorcoach and we head of to the airport for your flight home.
