About Jamie L. Morgan

My Story

I am Jamie Lynn Morgan, current Director of Operations and Marketing for the Post Falls Chamber of Commerce. I previously worked as a Part-Time Business Coach for the Idaho Small Business Development Center as well as their Marketing Director while also running my own Placemaking and Marketing Company.

As a long-time community member (moved here from Montana in 1991), an active employee, and a business owner in the North Idaho area, I saw firsthand how the connection between the well-being of a community and the success of businesses go hand in hand. What better place to be able to continue to foster that than at the Chamber of Commerce?

Fun fact some may not know, I am also a published magazine and travel writer and once won a 7-day all-expenses paid trip to Colorado for one of my travel articles. Writing has always been an outlet for me, and although I don’t do it as much as I used to, I still find the time to write; it is more for me.

Being a lover of the outdoors, specifically biking and hiking, you will find me pedaling around town during the spring, summer, and fall, running errands, visiting local businesses, and simply out enjoying this fabulous place we live. My new favorite place is the Post Falls Community Forest – when getting lost can actually be fun!

I live in Post Falls with my husband of 30+ years, my three grown children, and our dog Ollie. We moved here two years ago from Coeur d’Alene and are looking forward to becoming more involved in all things Post Falls!
