Post Falls Ranked 7th for Best Place to Start a Business
Size matters when choosing a city in which to launch a startup. As many veteran entrepreneurs — and failed startups — understand, bigger is not always better. A city with a smaller population can offer a greater chance of success, depending on an entrepreneur’s type of business and personal preferences. The best cities can help new companies survive economic shocks such as the COVID-19 pandemic and inflation. Owning a business even under normal conditions is hard enough when 20% of new businesses fail within the first two years and 45% fail during the first five.
A Post Falls Urban Center is in the Worx
Once completed, the 32-acre Millworx development a few blocks east of City Hall will have about 685 living units in 615,000 square feet of residential space, says Ryan Ruffcorn, architect with A&A Construction. Millworx also will have 104,000 square feet of commercial space.
